I’m Ama, a food creator and storyteller. I make food and lifestyle videos with a strong focus on community, family, friendship, nostalgia, and culture.

My work reaches millions each month across social media, and my creative projects are expanding, from dinner parties and brand campaigns to video series and community events. I’ve been doing everything on my own for the past two years, and now, it’s time to get some help.

I need someone who loves creativity but also thrives on order. A creative nerd who enjoys shooting and editing videos. I need someone to brainstorm with me and help execute ideas that can grow my following (especially with short-form content on TikTok and expansion to YouTube).

How the role works

You’ll be my right hand across both the creative and production sides of my work, helping turn ideas into well-executed videos, campaigns, and documented events.

You’ll work closely with me from concept to final delivery: organising shoots, keeping track of footage, coordinating crew or guests, assisting with deliverables for brand collaborations, and generally helping ensure that our creative projects run smoothly.

You’ll sometimes be on set, sometimes at events, sometimes behind a laptop (and/or phone), and sometimes in my kitchen, helping me stay on top of multiple moving pieces.

Some of the things you’ll do

This role will evolve as we grow, but here’s where we’ll begin:

• Assist with shoot planning, scheduling, logistics, and on-set coordination for video shoots.
• Film and do basic edits for videos, ensuring assets are properly organised and labeled ( I currently use a SONY A6700 as my primary camera, and iPhone 15 Pro Max as a secondary cam
• Support in tracking brand deliverables, briefs, timelines, and submissions.
• Help with communication, light admin tasks, and occasional coordination for dinner events or productions.

What I’m like to work with

I care deeply about what I do, telling stories that make people feel something, whether it’s hunger, nostalgia, or laughter. I’m very hands-on, but I also value collaboration and initiative. I like to give feedback in real time — clear and honest, but I do my best to be kind.

I’m not looking for a “yes” person. I’m looking for someone who brings ideas, who notices when something could be better, and who helps build the rhythm that keeps the work flowing.
